Brewer Carpet One

In 1983, after eleven years working as a Territory Manager and Regional Manager at Masland Carpets, Tom Brewer decided he wanted to spend more time with his family. To meet that goal, Tom, with the help of his wife, Kathy, founded Brewer Carpet & Design Center, Inc. The first Brewer Carpet One location was opened in Edmond, Oklahoma shortly thereafter. The store has been thriving ever since. In 1987, after opening the store in Edmond, Brewer Carpet & Design Center became an early member of the Carpet One Floor & Home cooperative. Since then, being a member has allowed our company to retain a local, family-owned identity in the community, but with the added benefit of having the buying power of 1,000 locations worldwide. Later on, in 1989, Rick Ogle became a partner and co-owner of the Brewer Flooring Group. Rick runs our Builder Division, serves as Head Buyer, and as the current Chief Executive Officer for the company. In 2001, Tom’s son, Bart Brewer, joined the leadership team, managing the Advertising and IT for the company. Bart continues to work closely with both departments as well as serving in his role as Chief Operating Officer for the company. Many stores have opened since that first Edmond location. To date, the company has expanded to over 30 locations in 6 states including Oklahoma, Texas, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, and Florida. While times and technology continue to change, one thing that continues to stay the same is our commitment to our customers.
