Our purpose and Mission Since 1971: We will establish our customer's floor covering needs based upon value and effectiveness. We will fulfill those needs with a "full service" installation center. We are Oklahoma family owned and operated since 1971, "The Floor Stores" is Oklahoma's largest floor covering stores.
After playing in the NFL, for the San Diego Chargers, Harold Akin opened his first location in 1971 called Carpet World. "The Floor Stores" has now expanded to 4 stores with locations in OKC, MWC, Edmond and Moore.
Harolds' son's, Scott and Zac are now running the business and will continue to carry on Harold's ongoing legacy of THE FINEST FLOORING STORE IN OKLAHOMA!
