This is a combination of the Expert Installation five-day school and the Expert Sand & Finish three-day school. Attend both for a price break. October 3-7 & 9-11, 2006 Five-day school designed to meet the needs of highly experienced wood flooring professionals who want to learn the installation techniques to become master craftsmen in the industry. Because of the intensive hands-on nature of this program, all students are required to have attended an NWFA Advanced Installation School. During this school you will be part of a four-person team that will install a complete entryway with radius staircase. Topics covered: Building Custom Jigs Cutting Taper Boards Cutting Parquet Cutting Medallions Bending Wood Installing on a Radius Free-Hand Routing Marquetry Stone & Brass Inlays Job Costing for Custom Work Three-day school is designed to meet the needs of highly experienced wood flooring professionals who want ot learn the sanding & finishing techniques to become master craftsmen in the industry. Because of the intensive hands-on nature of this program, all students are required to have a nimimum of three years of experience in the industry & have attended an NWFA Intermediate Installation and Sand & Finish school. During this school, you will sand & finish a radius staircase, as well as the surrounding floors.
