CFI 13^th Annual Convention - Arlington, Texas – August 9-12, 2006

CFI is celebrating 14 years of membership in Arlington, Texas August 9-12, 2006.

Wednesday, August 9th
CFI Board of Directors convenes to review, revise and implement new programs that benefit the professional flooring installers.  The CFI Certification Team meets in the evening.

Thursday, August 10th
The exciting kickoff to every Convention is the Leadership Conference sponsored by the World Floor Covering Association.  “This motivational conference brings together leaders in their respected fields. It also allows us the opportunity to hear presentations by well-known speakers that highlight leadership values in an entertaining format,” said Leon Harrison, Vice-President.  D. Christopher Davis, CEO will open the conference by stressing the value of working together with CFI’s partner, the WFCA.  Early registration is required to receive the WFCA-CFI Leadership gift.

Friday and Saturday Programs
Educational opportunities abound with presentations on the topics of installation, tools, business management and the networking available to provide labor to national firms.  “It is always very difficult to select the seminars and workshops to attend because each one is important.  The presenters provide us with information that assists in providing a more productive workplace and increasing the bottom line,” states Roy Davison, CFI Secretary.

“It is important that installers who represent our firm are in attendance.  We strive to provide our clients with the finest installations performed in the best manner using the finest products.  All of the necessary information is available at the CFI Convention,” Gary Bedrosian, Manager of The Kuske Company in Escondido, CA relates.  “Each year installers who represent our firm are afforded the opportunity to attend because of the importance of this to the overall growth of The Kuske Company.”

Following the welcome reception on Thursday evening, the attendees have night to spend touring the area.  Within minutes of the hotel, they may attend a Texas Rangers home game, or go for a rollercoaster ride at Six Flags over Texas®. 

On Friday evening, the entire group will participate in the CFI Associate Member Annual FUN event to be announced at a later date.  Saturday, the educational seminars and Associate Member presentations continue.  An exciting banquet will conclude the Convention.  This is always full of surprises and Associate Member gifts.
