| The next Cersaie, International Exhibition of Ceramic Tiles and Bathroom Furnishings, will be held in the Bologna exhibition centre from 2 to 6 October 2007. This special 25th anniversary edition will have an especially broad programme to celebrate a quarter of a century of history of a show that is the world's leading event for its two sectors. Cersaie's international scope was confirmed by the figures for the 2006 event. A total of 90,949 visitors converged on the Bologna exhibition centre, a 2.7% increase over 2005 and the highest number since the show became a five-day event. Of the 1,061 exhibitors, 211 were foreign companies from 32 different countries, while the number of foreign attendees amounted to 26,411, 6.9% more than the 24,711 of 2005. This brings the share of foreign visitors to 29%, the highest figure for a Bologna tradeshow and one of the highest at a national and international level. | |||
