This educational and practical two day seminar is designed to certify students as Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) Water Restoration Technicians. The course presents all of the basic concepts and systems of the restoration process. The material is presented in a generic format with lecture, audio-visual and hands-on instruction. Topics to be covered Introduction to Water Damage Restoration History of Water Damage Restoration Health and Safety Readiness Psychometrics Equipment and Supplies Mildew Growth and Correction Chemicals Application of Antimicrobials Odor Elimination Effects of Water on Flooring Materials Structural Drying Telephone Procedures Initial Inspection/Damage Containment Standard Dryout Procedures for Water Damage Sewage Backflows River Flooding Paid Pre-Registration $350 (Full Tuition includes 250 pg. manual) - Each Additional Student - Same Firm $300 Pre - Registration deposits at $50 each.
