Hardwood Floor, Stand Alone Circular Fireplace

Here was a fun one. Going around any objects like a island in a kitchen or connecting back after going around a room always presents a challenge to installers, a circular fireplace is just as fun!

This fireplace had carpet around it so we went in and undercut it using a Crain 825 undercut saw with a diamond blade and shop vac and HEPA filter attached.

Previously I did another one down the street but did not go all the way around it. Luckily all these neighbors are friends...word of mouth works great.

The flooring is from LM Flooring, Kendall series 5" x 3/8 engineered Oak which was floated. Installers note the straps. Wink

Oh, here is yet another one I did like two days before Christmas with a semi-circular fireplace. Not to terribly hard. About to glue in the last two rows.
