Casalgrande, 4 July 2017 – Cersaie 2017 edition in grand style for Serenissima, as it launches exciting new products for the world of architecture and design. This historic ceramics company, and flagship brand of the Romani Group, will inaugurate the new trade season by presenting visitors at the international salon, to be held in Bologna from 25 to 29 September, with projects and collections designed to meet the needs of contemporary design.

Spotlights focused on Le Plance, a container with new formats and long 26.5x180 cm strips, to fully appreciate the beauty of natural wood. In line with the most interesting trends in interior design, Le Plance by Serenissima features a versatile concept, ideal for residential and commercial spaces, using the most evocative and elegant colours. A truly material universe, in constant evolution, Le Plance brings refined and luxurious inspirations, rustic and informal suggestions, to complete each project following the laying patterns of typical wooden floors.

The richness of detail, so prominent in many types of wood, now provides the inspiration for Newport 2.0, a new collection that lets planners and designers interpret a whole range of environments with the elegance of natural wood, but with all the practical features of porcelain stoneware. Newport 2.0 transmits intense feelings and creates cosy spaces to relax in, fortify ourselves and give free vent to our best creative energy, perfect in both residential and commercial environments.

Originally inspired by the natural elegance of the stone typically used in the rural buildings of southern France, Pierre de France on the other hand is a new collection of extremely versatile nature, to be used in the recovery of historical settings and in defining modern and contemporary spaces. Elegance and tradition in architecture are linked to timeless materials, appreciated for their ability to evoke intense sensations, adapting to a multiple range of uses. Pierre de France by Serenissima is the expression in ceramics of this discreet fascination, multiplying its expressive potential thanks to a wide range of formats.
