Cerasarda, The Magic of Sardinia Turns Material
Cersaie 2017, the international exhibition of ceramics for architecture, has provided a showcase for Mediterranean colours, the refined decorations of artistic ceramics and the highest level of design which make Cerasarda unique, with exclusive proposals for flooring, wall coverings and furnishing accessories.
The design collection Abitare la Terra, created by designer and ceramist Maria Luisa Brighenti, inspired by the warm, rich and generous land of Sardinia and characterized by great materiality and harmonious chromatic tones enriched by a range of contrasting colours, Accento, and by exclusive decorative structures, is also the protagonist through the new Talk line of living tables. A designer's test for Cerasarda that combines the craftsmanship and cutting-edge technologies of the Romani Group, interweaving artistic tradition and contemporary taste, with the most exclusive refinement.
The design objects by Cerasarda, created to finish and personalize interiors, are the result of a set of complementary skills of the highest level, whose roots lie in the beauty of the Sardinian hinterland and in the warmth of the Mediterranean atmosphere. Like the OT07026 collection, whose inspiration is enclosed in the form of a flower seen in section, from which was born the profile of the elements, made in black porcelain stoneware, essential and enveloping as the primordial ceramic objects that in Sardinia have welcomed daily food. The collection, in continuous development, is made up of various objects: table articles, decorative volumes inspired by the vegetable world, in different colours (chalk, green, light blue and plum). Each colour is also characterized by specific decorative variations. OT 07026 provides an excellent setting to accommodate typical Mediterranean flavours, as well as ethnic ones, including the most sophisticated and refined.
Cerasarda Lab has also been on display in Bologna, a material account of the Costa Smeralda's unique aesthetics, expressed in various collections for floor and wall coverings with typical colours, decorations and style, identified from its origins above all in Pitrizza, a product recognized and appreciated all over the world for its distinctive character.
Cerasarda surfaces are thus part of the selection that architects and designers have been able to explore during the trade fair as a luxury proposal, to be used in exclusive architectural and interior design projects.
