MANSFIELD, MA – The Belknap White Group (BWG), one of America’s leading full-service flooring distributors, announced today that its own, Ron Heske was presented with Southern New England Floor Covering Association’s (SNEFCA) Lifetime Achievement Award for 2017.

SNEFCA is a non-profit trade organization that provides its members the tools and environment necessary to grow professionally and personally; consistently working to improve the industry.

At the SNEFCA’s Annual Awards Ceremony, held on March 29th, in South Windsor, CT., Ron Heske, with nearly 40 years in the industry, was the proud recipient of one of five Lifetime Achievement Awards offered that evening. The Lifetime Achievement Award honors exceptional leadership or contributions that have led to expanding the vision of the floor covering industry in New England.

Heske was BWG’s Sales Representative in Connecticut for over 20 years, just recently retiring in the fall of 2017. He began his career in the floorcovering industry in 1979 as both an inside and outside sales representative for Spear Newman Co. in West Haven, CT.

There, he gained invaluable experience, and then moved on through Crest Tile in Central Falls, RI and then to C&B Distributors in Long Island. Eventually, Ron was persuaded by Belknap White Group’s Bill White, former President, Traditional Sales/Marketing Division, to join the BWG family. “I have been working with the BWG Family for over 20 years; witnessing its prosperity and expansion, and am proud to be a component of that success,” stated Heske.
