Quick-Step Makes Organizational Changes
Thomasville, N.C.—Quick-Step has made a couple of changes to its organizational structure to better service its distributor and retail customers.

Roy Foster has been named vice president of sales for the laminate maker. In addition to overseeing the company’s sales and operational performance, he will provide leadership and direction to the laminate maker’s sales organization, said Paul DeCock, president.

Foster brings to Quick-Step several years of flooring and distributor experience. He most recently spent the past eight years as general manager of American Olean, a division of Daltile.

“His knowledge and experience will be a great asset not only to Quick-Step but also to our distributor network,” noted De Cock.

In a separate move, Fred Giuggio has been promoted to national sales director. The 10-year industry veteran was most recently Quick-Step’s Eastern division sales manager.

De Cock said Giuggio’s primary responsibility will be to work with the Quick-Step sales team and distributors, executing strategies to increase sales and market share.

“Fred was one of the first regional sales managers hired by Quick-Step [in 2001] to launch the brand in the U.S.,” De Cock noted, “and has played an integral role in our overall success.”
