The markets for which Flor-Ever Plus has been designed include health care, military housing, education, office and main street applications. “It is also an ideal floor for residential applications where a homeowner desires a product with commercial durability combined with attractive residential looks,” Charbonneau said.
Flor-Ever Plus offers unique features, she noted, that make it the perfect choice for commercial and residential applications, including antimicrobial protection. “Flor-Ever Plus includes silver, nature’s own antimicrobial agent to continually protect the floor from mold, mildew and bacteria. This is an attractive feature for a product designed for use in healthcare, assisted living, education and residential environments where bacteria and mold are a concern.”
Flor-Ever Plus also features a durable wearlayer, she noted. “Its rugged construction is fortified with an aluminum oxide surface for superior performance along with low maintenance. The product also stresses decor options that will coordinate with both commercial and residential interiors. This generation of the successful Flor-Ever line comprises seven designs in 30 new colorations for stone, slate, wood and overall pattern designs. The Flor-Ever Plus package is fashionably tough for light commercial applications yet ruggedly good-looking for the home.”
Other Flor-Ever key features include a 20-mil wear surface; heterogeneous sheet flooring that meets ASTMF 1301; FloorScore-certified product for improved indoor air quality performance; Congoleum’s 5-year limited warranty in commercial applications; Congoleum’s 4-Star warranty in residential applications, and 12-foot widths to minimize seams and installation costs.
Flor-Ever Plus will be merchandised in all Congoleum residential displays with 18 x 24 samples. In addition, the following are available for both commercial and residential markets: 12 x 18 sample binder, 9 x 12 strap sets and 3 x 6 stack decks. Flor-Ever Plus will debut in Congoleum’s Main Street, Select Oak, High Society, Building Blocks, Metropolis, Slate Walk and Uptown collections.
