“With the formation of Shaw Hospitality Group, we are creating synergy among our hospitality brands by taking them to market collectively,” said Tim Baucom, vice president of commercial marketing and sales. “This collaboration between Shaw Hospitality and Design Origins focuses our two hospitality brands and allows us to streamline our sales and marketing initiatives going forward.”
Kevin Sanders, vice president of Shaw Hospitality Group, will lead the division and has appointed Charley Knight as vice president of sales and Desiree Worsley as vice president of marketing. Knight will lead and develop the sales force and sales management teams for the Shaw Hospitality and Design Origins brands. He previously served as vice president of sales for Shaw Hospitality.
Worsley will direct all marketing initiatives and lead product and design development, as well as training programs for the two brands. She previously served as vice president for sales and marketing for Design Origins.
“Shaw Hospitality Group has the design expertise and experience to be a comprehensive resource to our hotel clients,” Sanders said. “Across public spaces and guest rooms alike, our unified brands, along with our proven record of customer service and design customization and creativity, is serving the hospitality industry in an ever greater capacity.”
Shaw Hospitality creates textured carpet for guest rooms while Design Origins produces patterned carpet for public spaces. The Shaw Hospitality Group brand image is demonstrated in its current display advertisements. A new Web site, www.shawhospitalitygroup.com, will debut this month.
