First-Ever Sale for Shaw Living Tommy Bahama Collection to be Unveiled at Atlanta International Rug Market
DALTON, GA – of the top-selling brands in the business – Shaw Living’s Tommy Bahama Collection – kicks off its inaugural biannual sales event at this year’s Atlanta International Rug Market. The yearly sales events are planned for each October and April. Retailers attending the show will be able to preview the promotional package that will highlight the sale at the show and get tips on how to promote what promises to be one of the industry’s most popular sales of the season.

“Tommy Bahama is just an incredibly well-known and respected brand for today’s discerning consumer,” said Kimberly Barta, Brand Manager for Shaw Living. “We are delighted that Tommy Bahama’s team has recognized the potential this has to be among the most popular sales events of the year and that that we can provide a great promotional package to assist the retailer.”

The Tommy Bahama Collection features a variety of rugs from traditional to transitional to contemporary. The hallmark of all rugs in the collection are the uniquely distinctive Tommy Bahama flare, including soft lush fibers, rich colors, attention to detail and sophisticated designs epitomized by images of the upscale coastal lifestyle.

Tommy Bahama rugs offer a wide variety of options, including machine-woven wool, nylon, olefin and luxurious handmade wool silks, as well as outdoor rugs.

The Tommy Bahama sales package will include a POP kit, featuring sales tags, banners newspaper advertisements, e-cards, and post cards, as well as a range of in-store promotional ideas that the retailer can tailor to meet their store’s market. The promotional package can be ordered from July 15 – August 15. Retailers will also receive two Tommy Bahama Camp Shirts that can be worn by sales associates to help promote the event for every ten 5' x 8' rugs they purchase. Rugs must be ordered between July 15 – August 15.

In addition, retailers that purchase Tommy Bahama rugs between September 1 – October 31 will receive special sales incentives on their purchases.
