Tarkett North American Display features AmeriCore for enhanced durability
Tarkett Residential recently introduced its new North American Display Laminate Collections, high-performance flooring with stylish, updated patterns designed specifically for the North American consumer. The new collections feature the highest industry ratings for durability and exceptional wear, thanks in part to their AmeriCore inner core board, which withstands the toughest activities of everyday living.

Created by Tarkett’s North American design team and manufactured at the company’s new, state-of-the-art facility in Clarion, Pa., the three new collections are all suitable for commercial use and provide outstanding AC 4 wear layer and IC 3 indentation- resistance performance ratings. The four-layer Tarkett Laminate Performance System provides the performance-oriented
consumer with what they expect in a highly durable and beautiful floor:

1. The first layer is an AC 4 commercial-rated wear layer that protects against fading and stains and wears 60% better than most other laminate flooring.

2. The design layer replicates the beauty of natural woods and enhances the laminate’s texture.

3. The inner core board—the AmeriCore layer—is manufactured using only cherry and oak chips and is one of the only, if not the only, 100% hardwood core in the industry. AmeriCore provides superior indentation resistance and is IC 3-rated, the industry’s highest.

4. The bottom moisture-resistant balancer layer adds stability and uniformity to the floor.

“Tarkett’s new North American Display Laminate Collections offer exceptional durability that is unsurpassed in the market, withstanding everyday wear and tear while maintaining an attractive appearance,” said Jeff Katz, laminate director, Tarkett Residential. “This new laminate collection is another demonstration of Tarkett’s commitment to being the best performance flooring brand in North America.”

New designs have also been introduced: the New Frontiers collection, featuring exotic wood patterns; the Journeys collection, offering premium performance in a mix of traditional and modern woods along with several distinctive concrete and metallic designs, and the Cross Country collection, a variety of classic and traditional options.

All Tarkett Display Laminate Collections come with a limited-lifetime residential warranty, a 15-year light commercial warranty and a 10-year commercial warranty.

Because its laminates are now produced in the U.S., Tarkett is able to considerably reduce product turnaround time, providing quick and reliable delivery to distributors and retailers, resulting in enhanced customer service for consumers.

“Having the ability to control the manufacturing and delivery process is a significant benefit for Tarkett dealers and provides the company with the capacity to offer our consumers the best experience in shopping for laminate,” Katz said.
