The Mohawk Equation: Style + quality + selection = customer preference
The rich craftsmanship of hand-worked finishes and textures is celebrated throughout Mohawk laminates. For instance, the Maison product line features French bleed finishes, which create a slightly darkened appearance along the joints and in the grain.
Maison also offers cowtailing; the stain is carefully applied in splatters and flecks, looking as if it was done with a cow’s tail. This delicate detailing highlights the grain. Maison’s lightly textured selections include two different scraped wood styles. The surface detail and pillowed edges of hand scraped are emphasized in pecan and oak hardwood looks. Softly scraped styles allow just enough depression to create a time-worn wood floor appearance.
Mohawk laminates are designed to mirror the naturally occurring subtleties of genuine stone and hardwoods. The multiple layers comprising the laminates—as well as the colors, densities and textures—are intentionally varied to create both the appearance and feel of natural flooring.
An additional consideration for laminate lovers: Mohawk incorporates multiple environmental initiatives into its laminate production. Through Greenworks, Mohawk’s green initiatives program, U.S.-made laminate boards use 74% pre-consumer recycled content. Laminate waste is recycled through various means, while wood dust and rejected product serve as process heat. Stewardship of the planet is part of Mohawk culture.
Mohawk’s vertically integrated structure ensures careful control and inspection of all laminate supply and production aspects. The company makes its own pre-consumer recycled inner laminate cores and sources its own print layer papers as well as finishing and bonding the completed product so every step is the highest quality.
Nationally diversified, Mohawk can provide container-direct service to stocking dealers and larger clients. For major jobs where quick turnaround is a must, sales directly from mills via tractor-trailers or rail containers is available. By removing the additional steps involved when using a distribution center, supply acquisition is simplified and customers are better able to meet deadlines and budgets.
Beauty and function go hand-in-hand in every laminate product. Superior selection and excellent distribution processes put the customer’s preferences first. And Mohawk laminates are always manufactured to the highest industry standards available. Guaranteed.
