Quick•Step Industry-first technology features sliding laminate strips
Linesse from Quick•Step offers textures and edging details that replicate the richness of real wood. The line features three individual strips on one plank. Two of the strips slide, enabling the consumer to customize the stagger during installation for a more realistic appearance. This revolutionary technology makes it easy for your customers to create the look of an authentic narrow- strip hardwood floor—and it can be installed 30% faster than traditional strip hardwood flooring.
Another unique feature of this new flooring collection from Quick•Step is the softboard underlayment, which is attached to the one stationary strip. Because the underlayment is pre-attached to the plank, you’ll save time during installation. The underlayment also helps create a more realistic solid hardwood sound—a key benefit homeowners will notice and prefer.
Linesse is available only at specialty retail floor covering stores in an array of wood looks, including macadamia oak, harvest pecan oak, toasted almond oak, afzelia doussie bleached, natural varnished jatoba and dark varnished walnut. Planks are 7/16- inch thick, which includes the attached underlayment. Each three-strip plank is 8 inches wide and 541/2 inches long.
Like all floors from Quick•Step, the Linesse Collection is engineered to resist wear, fading, staining and indentation, and can be installed in high-traffic areas. It’s also easy to maintain with no waxing, sanding, staining or sealing. And a damp mop effortlessly cleans up most messes. In addition, unlike a solid hardwood floor, the Linesse Collection can be installed above or below grade. It carries a lifetime limited warranty.
