ATLANTA GA, July 2, 2009 — Heather Moody had one of those storybook spring days. Over lunch at a trendy restaurant, she gets a proposal for marriage. A couple of hours later, she wins a houseful of new Bliss carpet from a drawing at the Atlanta Home Show. Does it get any more blissful than that?

Ms. Moody, an attorney for the Georgia senate and fiancé Skip Breeden, also an attorney, decided to gift Skip’s mom with all the carpet since she is in the process of renovating her 23-year old home and their nuptials are still a year away. “I love the quiet and softness of carpet,” said Cathy Breeden with Bliss Healthy Home samples clutched in hand. “We’re re-carpeting all our upstairs bedrooms as a result.”

Will Bliss start promising a new husband with the purchase of carpet? “Probably not,” mused Edwards, “but it’d be pretty cool if they could.”
