Armstrong launches redesigned Web site
LANCASTER PA.—With the Internet now the first place most consumers go to research products before buying, Armstrong has relaunched its Armstrong.com Web site.

Organized to give shoppers “multiple and interesting ways” to experience its product portfolio, Carole Cross, general manager of Armstrong’s eMarketing, said the new site was designed to be simpler in look and usability so as to attract, inform and inspire more consumers and drive them to local retailers. “Our design captures what consumers and our retailers want,” she explained, “and guides consumers so they can confidently narrow their selection.”

Consumers can search hardwood, laminate or resilient flooring via product features— color, texture, performance and other attributes, Cross noted. The site also shows product texture and products from different angles.

To help both dealers and the shopper, the site has an SKU-specific store locator, so once consumers select a product they can find a retail location that carries it. Customers also can purchase hardwood, laminate and resilient samples directly from the site.

In addition to English, the site is available in Spanish and Canadian French.
