Karastan Focuses on Consumer Experience in New Web Site
DALTON, GA, October 27, 2009—The dynamic new Web site uses the latest technology and programs to create a Karastan brand experience for consumers—upscale, elegant, innovative and infinitely useful.

“My Karastan” on allows women to create their own account and share their favorite Karastan carpet and rugs with their family and friends.

“We also have developed our online merchandising,” Berry said, “by grouping and displaying coordinating products, room scenes, color lines and optional shapes for each product. We provide a ‘zoom in’ feature that allows a consumer to see all the intricate details in each style.”

A new Video Gallery spotlights videos on Karastan’s environmental initiatives, products and Statement Maker campaign.

A new room scene gallery collection provides design inspiration and ideas. Karastan also has launched Designer on Call, where consumers can hire one of five featured designers to help them create their perfect Karastan room.

One of the best features of the redesigned site is the new Karastan retailer search. Consumers can determine, using Google Maps technology, the dealer nearest to them as well as the products the dealer carries, store hours and contact information.
