Quick-Step Launching Veresque Collection with New GenuEdge Technology
Dallas, June 2, 2010 – Quick-Step, the style and technology leader in laminate flooring, is currently launching the Veresque collection with NEW GenuEdge Technology, a revolutionary innovation that delivers the most realistic hardwood edge visual ever seen in the laminate industry. This new technology allows Veresque’s surface design and color to “roll over the edge”, creating the same edge visual found in real wood planks. The Veresque collection is currently launching in retail stores nationwide.

Veresque offers 7 skus in popular domestic exotic and tropical exotic species. The 4 Hickories found in the collection offer a distressed look, ranging in color from light to dark. Veresque’s Hickories also feature authentic, registered embossed texturing that accentuates the natural wood grain, further giving these 4 rustic products a natural, realistic hardwood look. The new Veresque collection also includes 3 smooth, furniture finish floors in rich Jatoba, Maple, and Walnut visuals.
The collection’s 5” wide by 47” long planks are on a premium HDF 8mm platform. The price/value relationship resulting from this platform positions the collection in a mid-range price point, attractive to a large portion of a retailer’s customers. Veresque’s increased level of realism ensures that this collection offers the best combination of style and value in the industry.
