Mannington Goes to New Lengths in Laminate with the Longwood Collection
Salem, NJ -- September 20, 2010 – Leveraging the trend for longer and wider planks in real hardwood, Mannington has introduced a new collection of laminate: The Longwood Collection. The company previewed the product at Surfaces earlier this year, where it received a number of awards, and it has recently become available at specialty retailers across North America.

“It’s got the look of today’s popular real wood long-planks, with the performance of Mannington Laminate,” says David Sheehan, Vice President—Laminate and Resilient. “And because Mannington participates in all hard surface categories, we can easily translate those trends from one product into another.”

The Longwood Collection features planks that are 7.9 inches wide and 6.7 feet long, and comes in two patterns:

• Aberdeen, a beach-inspired look of distressed maple with an aged, hand-painted, rustic visual; and

• Brazilia, an exotic, contemporary look that highlights the graining and impressive detail found in exotic woods.

Both patterns come with Mannington’s Diamond Finish which provides a high clarity, scratch-resistant surface.

The Longwood Collection offers specialty retailers two merchandising options: first, as a stand-alone Stairstep Display, and also as an addition to Mannington’s 90” Laminate UltraFlex Display. Both options include a full-length feature panel so consumers can see for themselves the impressive size of the planks, and help them visualize the product in their home.

The Longwood Collection is available now. Contact your Mannington distributor for details, or view it on www.Mannington.com
