Report from the Beaulieu Atlanta and Dallas Regional Shows … “The best product introduction ever!”
DALTON GA, January 17, 2010 – In spite of snow and ice impacting attendance in Atlanta, Georgia, Beaulieu officials were extremely upbeat following their regional show there and in Dallas, Texas. Both events were held simultaneously the previous week.

“Dallas attendance on the first day was better than last year’s total numbers,” said Richard Abramowicz, Divisional VP for Beaulieu.

“Many of our customers believe 2011 will be significantly better in the retail replacement segment and are positioning themselves with new product and program commitments early in 2011 to capitalize on the pent up demand,” according to Dallas Chapman, Divisional VP for Beaulieu.

Dealers were rewarded for their efforts to attend by seeing first-hand two new collections: The Bliss Magic Fresh Collection and Bliss HealthyTouch collection; a completely new generation of display systems, new Magic Fresh built-in demonstration capabilities, new dealer support and incentive programs and even a sneak peek at a totally new Bliss website. Many were impressed with the consistent messaging and presentation – from website to POP to displays. Beaulieu sales representatives took requests by dealers for website links to the new site as well as processing sales orders throughout both events.

“We received very positive feedback from dealers on our new racks and positioning,” commented Patricia Flavin, Senior VP of Marketing who was present at the Atlanta show. “The reaction to HealthyTouch pricing, merchandising and positioning was very strong and many dealers said we blew the competition away.”

When asked for his assessment, Meadows was ecstatic, “Dealers LOVE the rack and positioning. The Healthy Touch products were raved about. We can't get these out fast enough.” Next stop for Beaulieu will be Surfaces in Las Vegas, January 25-27, where the company will once again be the show’s dominant exhibitor at booth S3811.
