Mohawk’s Infinite Rewards hits milestone, California dealer gets 100,000th award
DALTON—For many years, sales associates have been earning various prizes for selling Mohawk flooring as part of its Infinite Rewards program. But earlier this month, Tyler McCray of West Coast Flooring Center in San Marcos, Calif., had the honor of being the 100,000th award recipient when he became the owner of a Vitruvian Speaker System for iPod and iPhone.

“This award means a lot to me,” McCray said upon hearing his award was a milestone. “Infinite Rewards is a great promotional tool; it really inspires you to sell Mohawk products. It shows that what I do every day on the sales floor—all the hard work and long hours I put in—really matters to Mohawk.”

Janie Franklin, manager of promotions at Mohawk, said as a special acknowledgement of being the 100,000th award recipient, McCray will receive an additional 1,000 reward points in his account.

She explained Infinite Rewards has been tailored to the dreams and needs of each retail sales associate. Everything from gas cards, to iPads, big screen televisions and even cash is available. “The Infinite Rewards website is also home to a first-class ticket center featuring the hottest concerts, sporting events and theater performances worldwide.”

Saying it is the first flooring rewards program to keep track of qualifying promotion products sold by each retail location, which eliminates time-consuming paperwork, Franklin explained participants simply visit the Infinite Rewards website, mohawkinfiniterewards.com, and claim their respective sales. Once complete, they can immediately begin shopping the Mohawk Infinite Rewards mall.

As McCray and others have found out, earning points in the program is easy, she said, since a wide variety of products, including carpet, hardwood, laminate, ceramic tile, resilient and cushion are eligible. In addition, participants also earn points for completing online education modules.

“At Mohawk, we want to reward our retail sales associates, store managers and store owners for their support of Mohawk,” Franklin concluded. “That’s why we have intentionally created a system that rewards well and rewards often.”
