FloorBiz Welcomes BrandBiz Founder Paul Friederichsen as the Marketing ’Guru’
November 19, 2011 – FloorBiz is proud to announce that Paul Friederichsen, founder of BrandBiz, has been added as Marketing ’Guru’ in our Flooring Columns section. His columns will feature timely information on a variety of marketing strategies geared specifically for the flooring industry.

Trained as an art director and creative director, he has developed marketing plans and ad campaigns with advertising agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi and McCaffery and McCall for a variety of clients, including RCA, Jenn-Air, ITT Tech, Royal Oak Charcoal and Dixie Crystals Sugar.

For over 12 years, Friederichsen has specialized in the home environment arena serving accounts such as Home Depot, Milliken, Formica, Dixie Group, Crossville, Florim, Beaulieu of America and the Carpet and Rug Institute. He has recently created the Future Focus Awards, in collaboration with Floor Focus magazine, to recognize the top young professionals in the industry.

Friederichsen founded BrandBiz in 2005 and maintains a network of marketing specialties with allies in a variety of fields, including social media with industry leader Christine Whittemore, along with PR, media strategy and placement, sales incentives, training and mobile marketing.

He is a regular speaker at Surfaces and Coverings floor covering shows and is a frequent guest on the topic of marketing for Floor Radio and TalkFloor.com; as well as the new assignment as Marketing ’Guru’ at FloorBiz.com. He also serves on the Surfaces Educational Advisory Council.
