Beaulieu Introduces Bliss EverClean Carpet for 2012
DALTON GA—Beaulieu of America is introducing a new collection that is sure to appeal to today’s pet-owning family: Bliss EverClean carpet. Beaulieu cites the American Pet Products Association 2011-2012 National Pet Owner’s Survey stating that 72 million U.S. households own a pet – meaning a tremendous need for carpet that can handle odor and stain challenges associated with those households. Bliss EverClean carpet made with Beaulieu’s solution-dyed polyester can do just that, according to Beaulieu officials. The new collection will be formally unveiled in January at Surfaces 2012.

Because EverClean is made with Beaulieu’s own solution-dyed polyester, it is impervious to stains and can even be cleaned with a 50/50 solution of household bleach and water. “Everyone appreciates the cleaning and disinfecting power of bleach,” observed Ralph Boe, president and CEO of Beaulieu. “So now when an accident happens, people know with EverClean they can just go to the laundry area and get their ‘spot remover’.” Boe added that using bleach – even a diluted 50/50 solution of bleach and water recommended by Beaulieu – will often void the manufacturer’s warranty for other carpets.

All styles will be made with Beaulieu ultra-soft SoftSense fiber technology in face weights ranging from 25 to 58 oz. and from level and graphic loops to textures and friezes.

In addition to the solution-dyed polyester, EverClean carpets are made with Beaulieu’s own Magic Fresh built-in odor reducing treatment that continuously reduces common household odors from pets, cooking or smoking; as well as 3M Scotchgard Protector. The collection will feature 21 styles and a wide array of designer influenced colors.
