Roteglia, February 3, 2014 - The plan to invest in equipment for production continues for Century factory, owned by Fincibec Group, where a new pressing, drying and glazing line for large sizes has been introduced recently. The intervention implemented at the factory in Roteglia di Reggio Emilia follows the renovation and upgrading of departments for end-of-line processing, selection, storage and handling, undertaken ??in 2012.

The Century factory is thus becoming a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, dedicated to the production of fine porcelain stoneware materials of large size with different finishes such as lapping, polishing, cutting and grinding. The new line added is powered by a high tonnage press and an Eva 412 dryer, both by Sacmi, and allow for the production of ceramic slabs up to 1200x1200 and 800x1600 mm in size.

Like the other production lines at the Roteglia factory and other Fincibec Group factories, this also features digital technology and devices so as to minimise problems related to energy consumption and environmental pollution.

The equipment investment made ??by the Sassuolo-based group, operating in the market also with the Monocibec and Naxos brands, expresses confidence in the future of the ceramic district, an active industrial complex able to face the challenges of the global market.
