Sassuolo, 18 March 2014 - Fincibec will present new collections and cutting-edge products at the 25th Coverings exhibition, which is the biggest ceramics event of its kind in the United States. It is the perfect place for the renowned manufacturer to showcase all of the new offerings for 2014 by its three brands: Century, Monocibec and Naxos.
Camelot is a new porcelain stoneware selection by Monocibec whose original use of shades and colour contrasts is breathtaking. The contemporary designs of the surfaces can help to bring out the charm and personality of any setting. Coverings will see the international unveiling of the Major version of the line, featuring tiles that are 20 mm thick and have anti-slip surfaces, making them ideal for public and private outdoor areas, as well as use in poolside zones and wellness facilities both indoors and outdoors. There is a broad array of special items for poolside use which can be used in conjunction with skimmer and overflow recirculation systems.
Architecture is the natural sphere of use for ceramics, but it has also become a source of inspiration for the new Century surfaces. Pantheon is a porcelain stoneware collection with an appearance similar to natural stone that encapsulates human and urban tales, giving it a feel that is ancient and modern at the same time. The variety of sizes and the inclusion of anti-slip surfaces in the range mean that Pantheon can be used to cover every inch of any setting in accordance with the design needs.
With its Start collection of white ceramic wall tiles and porcelain stoneware flooring, Naxos has opened up endless design opportunities. Modern graphic detailing complements and blends with the tradition of industrially reproducing majolica with cutting-edge techniques, in a world of material qualities that draws inspiration from natural and industrial sources, wood and cement. It celebrates the potential for bathroom customization and pushes back its boundaries as far as possible.
