Q.E.P. Co., Inc. Completes Acquisition of Tomecanic
BOCA RATON, FLORIDA – April 16, 2014 – Q.E.P. CO., INC. (OTC: QEPC.PK) (the “Company”) today announced it’s wholly-owned French subsidiary PRCI completed the purchase of the Tomecanic® and Bénètiere® trade names and other assets of the two named businesses. The acquisition further enhances QEP’s position as the world’s leading supplier of tiling and flooring installation equipment.

Founded in 1961, Tomecanic® was the first company to offer a full range of tiling tools to trades and distributors in France. Bénètiere®, founded in 1931, was well-known in France for inventing the first tools for cutting natural stone and offer a full range of diamond cutting blades.
