Bostik Partnership with Artaic Results in Stunning Hospitality Light Fixtures
Bostik, Inc. (bostik-us.com), one of the world’s largest manufacturers of adhesives and sealants, announced it has entered into a strategic partnership with Artaic, the Boston-based “Innovative Mosaic” firm which uses design software and robotic manufacturing systems to “enable the creation of high-end, custom mosaic projects fast, efficiently and with exceptional value.”
Recently, this new Bostik/Artaic combination resulted in a hotel lobby becoming a veritable custom glass mosaic lantern showcase. Exquisite hanging architectural lighting was made possible with Artaic mosaics being installed on the body of each fixture with Bostik Dimension® RapidCure™, a glass-filled, pre-mixed, urethane grout, which both reflects light as well as allows it to pass through the tile. These stunning hanging lanterns attract hotel guests; each one transforming the glass tile into an extraordinarily illuminated mosaic statement.

A major attribute of this unique product is that because of its glass content, it actually adds even more visual excitement to the already brilliant effects glass tile brings to any installation.
For this project, Artaic glass mosaics and their exclusive designs were incorporated into a stunning new collection of hanging pendulum light fixtures offered by Ayre Architectural Lighting of South Easton, MA. “Of course, Dimension® RapidCure™ Grout was used, “ continued Reiss. “We believe these lit mosaics will be perceived as a very unique product… one that the A & D community should love!”
