Fishman Flooring Solutions Names Rob Hoffman Director of Architectural Specifications
BALTIMORE, MD. September 17, 2014 – Fishman Flooring Solutions has named Rob Hoffman director of architectural specifications. Hoffman previously served as business manager for Fishman’s Western and Central Pennsylvania Region. In his new role, he will manage a four-person team of experts who consult with architects, designers, specifiers and others to provide solutions to their flooring project challenges. He is also charged with expanding the firm’s consulting services across the entire Fishman footprint. Hoffman succeeds Sam Diana, who has retired after six distinguished years of service with Fishman and 48 years in the flooring industry.

“We are extremely fortunate to have outstanding and experienced professionals like Rob Hoffman and Sam Diana as members of the Fishman family,” said Bob Wagner, president of Fishman Flooring Solutions. “Rob brings more than three decades of flooring industry experience to his new role and his in-depth knowledge of the features and benefits of Fishman’s products and services will be an asset not only to our architecture and design representatives, but also to the architects, specifiers, designers and project managers with whom they work.

“Rob will be filling a significant void created by the retirement of Sam Diana, who has made major contributions to the success of Fishman during his time here,” Wagner continued. “We wish Sam and his family good health and much happiness in his retirement years.”

Hoffman began his career with Fishman Flooring Solutions in 2008 when the firm purchased Clark Flooring, where he was previously employed. He has attended the University of Industrial Distribution at Purdue University. He and his wife, Terri, have three children and reside in Cannonsburg, Pennsylvania
