FLUIDO expresses a unique mood linked to natural elements, reinterpreted with a focus on sensorial rather than material aspects. Presented for the first time at Cersaie 2014, this collection offers a unique vision of stone based on sinuous graphic designs, breaking down details and transferring them in an attenuated form to ceramic surfaces. This new line offers a journey through emotions and timeless style. It is open to many different stylistic influences and is easy to combine with other natural materials.
Ariana's research efforts combine a sensation of natural well-being with an exclusive, intense surface design ideal for all interiors, including the bathroom. Designer details complete this collection, which evokes the quality of master craftsmanship with harmony and sophistication.
FLUIDO
Inspired by the warm, welcoming appeal of stone-clad surfaces, FLUIDO reinterprets the unique details of stone and transfers them to ceramic surfaces in an attenuated, almost abstract form. The new Ariana collection conveys a natural mood with a focus on sensorial rather than material aspects. Stone is broken down and fragmented almost to the point of becoming grains of sand, the starting point for a new journey through emotions and timeless style. It is open to a range of stylistic influences and is easy to combine with other natural materials.
Ariana’s aesthetic and technological research combines the sensation of natural well-being with an exclusive, intense surface design. The collection is ideal for any interior including bathroom and wellness spaces, the places devoted to regeneration of the body and mind. The coloured-body rectified porcelain tile collection comes with two different surfaces: satin, smooth, non-reflecting; and honed with an elegant glossy effect.
FLUIDO is a collection produced in 5 colours – Luna, Sabbia, Bronzo, Titanio and Ardesia – and 60x60 cm, 40x80 cm and 20x80 cm sizes. The collection also features decorative accessories ideal for ever new and personal interpretations. The unique vitality of the manual plasterwork blends harmoniously with the signs left by the passage of time. The ideal solution for floors and walls in residential and public spaces, it is also available in the revolutionary sizes 20x170 cm/40x170 cm created using Auto-Leveling technology for the utmost ease of installation.
PORTLAND 325
PORTLAND 325, developed in cooperation with the Cesena-based firm Archdesign, is named after the code for cement powder commonly used in the production of concrete. The entire collection produced by Ariana has a fresh and modern textural feel inspired by the surfaces of the recent past.
The design of the surface is based on photographs and digital scans of plastered walls in a 1940s factory that has now fallen into disuse. The unique vitality of the manual plasterwork blends harmoniously with signs left by the passage of time.
As an a masterpiece of Arte Informale, this makes for a perfectly balanced aesthetic, where the trowel marks, scratches and shade variations alternate unexpectedly with areas where the plaster has come away from the surface. This original solution is adopted for both the floor and wall tiles (available in the two sizes 30x60 cm and 60x60 cm) and in the 40x170 cm ceramic strip format, produced using high plasticity raw materials that allow for greater installation flexibility.
The new large-format tiles from Ariana are produced using Auto-Leveling technology, in which a very small degree of convexity guarantees maximum bonding to the substrate. After installation, they level automatically under their own weight to achieve perfect flatness. Ever attentive to issues of sustainable building, with PORTLAND 325 and its 40% content of recycled materials Ariana undertakes to meet the requirements of the LEED international rating system (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), which promotes the building design based on the use of materials with a low environmental impact.
