Coverings 2015: Ceramic Evolution According to ABK Group
Finale Emilia, 14 April 2015 – Quality, design, originality of inspiration and innovative technology are increasingly becoming the hallmarks of ABK Group, which is showcasing its finest Italian-made products under the ABK, Flaviker and Ariana brand names at Coverings 2015 (Booth no. 4811).

The Dolphin wood-effect planks from ABK are inspired by Venice and its famous “briccole”, the posts in the lagoon that guide ships into the port like dolphins. Produced using Auto-leveling technology, they combine a highly realistic wood look with unique decorative appeal. ABK is also unveiling Unika, a collection that breaks down the boundaries between ancient and modern, blending traces of age-old stone with concrete in a skillful layering of material and time.

The Supreme collection from Flaviker provides an original reinterpretation of marble, one of the most prestigious of all materials. This highly contemporary collection is ideal for use in combination with the brand's latest products such as Backstage, a collection that emulates old timeworn floors and informal spaces that normally remain hidden away “behind the scenes”. The graphic variability of terracotta blends with concrete to create a unique and highly distinctive style.

The historical and technological research conducted by Ariana has produced the splendid new Legend collection of ceramic slats. Inspired by old wooden planks salvaged from old flooring and beams removed from historic buildings during renovation work, they bring all the appeal of timeworn materials into contemporary homes. Notable for its elegance and sophistication, the Fluido collection from Ariana completes a moodboard of natural elements, where the initial inspiration of stone is broken down and softened to create exclusive, emotional atmospheres.
