Karastan Adds to Pacifica and Euphoria Collections
SUGAR VALLEY, GA, June 12, 2015: For the summer 2015 markets, Karastan continues to merge design with performance as it expands two collections: Pacifica, stunning rugs crafted of EverStrand, and Euphoria, SmartStrand Silk rugs in a subdued fashion palette.
Pacifica Collection
Karastan is adding 10 new designs including new color ways of existing designs and new casual traditional patterns. Casual, laid-back and sophisticated, the designs of the Pacifica Collection combine modern color combinations with elegantly refined designs. Its subtle tones are fresh, soft and sun-washed. Designs include modern paisleys, mesmerizing geometrics, striking lattices, clear ikats and distinctive palmette patterns.
Woven of EverStrand fiber on Van De Weile looms, these stunning rugs take style to new heights with their superior softness and durability. EverStrand is a premium recycled polyester fiber that starts clean and stays clean because it utilizes the highest-grade plastic from recycled beverage bottles. EverStrand includes up to 100% recycled content and offers inherent “stain-free” beauty.
Euphoria Collection
Sixteen new designs have been added to the Euphoria Collection. They offer new color ways in existing designs and new traditional looks—all crafted of SmartStrand Silk, the only rug fiber with built-in stain resistance that will never wear or wash off. In addition to its superior durability, SmartStrand Silk is crafted from renewable corn resources. This no-fuss, eco-friendly fiber brings softness and sustainability in a selection of transitional and relaxed patterns: fretworks, suzanis, Persian designs and florals.
