Quick-Step Launches New Laminate Products at Surfaces 2016
Dallas, TX – January 20, 2016 – Quick-Step, the style, design, and innovation leader in laminate flooring is launching a brand new collection as well as new products into an existing line at Surfaces 2016. Quick-Step’s new decors feature a superior level of realism and design, providing Quick-Step customers with the best combination of style and value in the industry!

“Quick-Step is a fashion-based product line that is on pace with the latest styles and trends,” said Paij Thorn-Brooks, vice president of brand marketing for Unilin, Quick-Step’s parent company. “Our brand prides itself on being the first to market with the hottest styles, latest trends, and most sophisticated features. Quick-Step has the technical ability to produce visuals and an unmatched level of realism that competitors cannot. This year’s Surfaces launch is the right mix of products to keep our brand firmly in the position of style leader!”

The new Quick-Step products will be featured prominently during Surfaces 2016 in the Quick-Step booth #4017, on the Surfaces show floor at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, January 20th through 22nd.

NEW Elevae Collection
Quick-Step’s NEW Elevae collection offers the beauty and visual charm of reclaimed hardwood wood in six unique decors featuring rich surface textures and a subtle color palette. European vintage oak, coastal pine, and rustic character oak designs are featured on 12 mm thick, extra-long 54” planks that are 6-1/8” wide to deliver unmatched realism and expansive style.

Antique Pine NEW
Like reclaimed planks from a Newport Beach cottage, this antique white washed pine decor includes hints of blue and grey hues. Antique Pine has a light and airy feel with a coastal vibe.

Windblown Pine NEW
Windblown Pine’s design authentically mimics the color and texture of barnwood that has been gently weathered by time and the elements, creating a textured plank in warm toffee brown with grey accents.

Gentry Oak NEW
Drawing its inspiration from an old French chateau, this noble oak décor has hints of verdigris over a rich dark coco brown. The subtlety of Gentry Oak’s reclaimed hardwood design gives the impression of an age gone by, yet modern in every way.

Terrain Oak NEW
A mingling of brown tones on top of a dark base creates Terrain Oak’s reclaimed wood visual. The undulating brown hue is indicative of wood weathered by time and the elements.

Mineral Oak NEW
Mineral Oak’s reclaimed wood design is influenced by the grey and blue tonal colors of natural stones, adding warmth with a modern flare. This vintage décor exemplifies how grey is no longer a trend, but a staple in today’s homes.

Tranquil Oak NEW
The whispering winds of a plateau could have created the taupe-grey-beige reclaimed oak design of Tranquil Oak. In this visual of wood gently weathered by time and the elements, the subtle comforting beige adds a lightness, freshness, and a contemporary color palette to any home.

Elevae’s micro bevel edges offer a subtle delineation between planks, emphasizing the overall aesthetic and character of the floor. The top layer of each plank features ScratchGuard Advanced Finish Technology helping the floor resist micro-scratches that can dull any floor’s surface over time. In addition, a special anti-static surface treatment repels dust and dirt, making Elevae floors virtually maintenance-free.

Elevae features Uniclic, the best and most widely-used glueless installation locking system in the world today. Patented Uniclic provides quick and easy installation as well as increased protection against water damage, warping, gapping, and height differences between planks. These floating floors may be installed on, above, or below grade level.

Elevae designs are produced with an AC4 wear layer and are backed by a Lifetime Residential Warranty as well as a Light To Medium Commercial Warranty. All Elevae products contribute to LEED points and are an Environmentally Preferred Product (EPP) in most green rating systems. In addition, Elevae floors hold the prestigious FloorScore certification for indoor air quality, are CARB compliant, and NALFA Certified. Elevae floors, like all Quick-Step floors, can be re-used up to three times and do not require glue during installation, avoiding introduction of volatile organic compounds.

The levels of realism and sophisticated design in Elevae ensure that these products offer consumers the best combination of style and value in the industry!

Envique Collection’s NEW Line Extensions
Quick-Step’s Envique products are the “Next Generation” of premium laminate flooring — raising the bar by providing a new higher level of realism, texture, and style than almost every other laminate on the market today.
The extraordinary visuals and textures of Envique’s new 2016 line extensions include cross-cut Oak, burned Pine, and sandblasted Oak designs.

Gable Oak NEW
Gable Oak authentically replicates a “skip-sawn” textured plank surface featuring random saw marks that create a gently worn visual.

Memoir Oak NEW
Emulating sandblasted textures found in high-end hardwood, Memoir Oak has the deep matte surface structure found in a naturally weathered oak with ultra-realistic color and texture.

Bridal Pine NEW
Bridal Pine features a white painted visual with the underlying authentic texture of a fire-charred custom hardwood floor.

The new single plank Envique designs are featured on 12 mm thick and 7-1/2” extra-wide by 54” extra-long planks to deliver stunning looks and sweeping style. A rolled bevel edge, featuring GenuEdge Technology allows the surface design and color to roll over the edge for an authentic plank look. The top layer of each plank features ScratchGuard Advanced Finish Technology helping the floor resist micro-scratches that can dull any floor’s surface over time. In addition, a special anti-static surface treatment repels dust and dirt, making Envique floors virtually maintenance-free.

Envique features Uniclic, the best and most widely-used glueless installation locking system in the world today. Patented Uniclic provides quick and easy installation as well as increased protection against water damage, warping, and height difference between planks. These floating floors may be installed on, above, or below grade level and can be re-used up to three times.
All Envique products are CARB compliant and NALFA Certified. These designs are produced with an AC4 wear layer and are backed by a Lifetime Residential Warranty as well as a Light To Medium Commercial Warranty. All Quick-Step laminate floors qualify as an Environmentally Preferred Product in most green rating systems; contribute LEED points; hold the prestigious FloorScore certification for indoor air quality; and do not require glue during installation, avoiding introduction of volatile organic compounds.
