Angie’s List Launches “Work with the Best” Sweepstakes to Current and Newly Registered Service Providers
INDIANAPOLIS, September 8, 2016 – Angie’s List (NASDAQ: ANGI) today announced the launch of its “Work with the Best” sweepstakes, rewarding current and newly registered service providers with opportunities to win one of four monthly drawings for DEWALT tool kits and a grand prize of a 2017 work truck.
The sweepstakes comes shortly after the launch of the company’s freemium tier, which allows consumers to access more than10 million of the verified reviews for home service professionals free-of-charge.
Since the launch in July, Angie’s List has seen an uptick in new member sign-ups and the activity level of members overall. Membership growth nearly quadrupled, site-visits grew by almost 170 percent and views of service providers’ profiles nearly doubled.*
Consequently, contractors registered on Angie’s List are now exposed to more customers than ever.
“Angie’s List has always been a strong supporter of small business, and we want to bring our ever-expanding toolkit to more and more contractors so we can help their business grow,” said Bob Owens, Senior Director of B2B Marketing at Angie’s List.
Service providers with completed profiles on Angie’s List are better positioned for growth than those that do not participate. Registration is free-of-charge and enables contractors to manage their reputation by monitoring and responding to reviews, customize their profile to better showcase offerings and expertise and access business tools designed to help them grow.
Winners of the monthly tools prizes, valued at $3,500 each, will be announced in the months of October, November, December and January 2016. The grand prize winner of the 2017 work truck, valued at $45,000, will be announced in mid-January 2017.
There is no fee to enter the “Work with the Best” sweepstakes. Contractors that have not yet registered on the site are eligible to enter, as well as those that already have reviews on Angie’s List, or have already registered.
