ABK’s Creativity Knows No Bounds at Cersaie
Finale Emilia, 15 September 2016 – At Cersaie 2016, the world’s foremost exhibition of ceramic tile and bathroom furnishings, ABK is presenting to an international audience its innovative WIDE collection for contemporary architecture, a series of ceramic panels in 6 different sizes up to 320x160 cm and a thickness of just 7 mm, while at the same time offering a preview of the Spring 2017 trends.

The new large sizes, which complement the bestselling collections launched by ABK in recent months, revisit the elegance of SENSI marble and the etched metal look of INTERNO9, along with ALPES, the new collection that combines the decorative qualities of various stones from the south of France to create an elegant and original blend of aesthetics.

ALPES comes in two different styles: ALPES WIDE stands out for its uniform overall effect together with a wealth of detail, while ALPES RAW is a rustic-chic offering that combines the characteristics of stone from different quarries. Available in textured and honed versions, ALPES RAW exploits the uncompromising look and heterogeneous colours of stone to lend a unique character to any space.

The WIDE series stems from major investments in research and technology and is part of ABK’s new programme catering for the needs of large residential and commercial projects. Alongside the range of large-format panels (which come in the principal size of 320x160 cm and submultiples 160x160 cm, 120x240 cm, 120x120 cm, 80x240 cm, 80x160 cm and 80x80 cm), ABK will also unveil the new 26x200 cm wood-effect ceramic plank.
