Ariana to Showcase Technology and Design at Cersaie
Solignano, 16 September 2016 – At Cersaie 2016, to be held in Bologna from 26 to 30 September, Ariana is showcasing a selection of innovative projects that are destined to revolutionise the very concept of ceramic surfaces. The astonishing potential of W&P (Wall & Porcelain) technology and WIDE large-size panels are the main factors driving this revolution, which will allow the company to blaze new trails in research, design and style.

CREA, the W&P wall tile collection, is a new expression of this revolutionary ceramic material which combines aesthetics with practicality and ease of use. CREA combines hints of post-industrial plaster and concrete with sophisticated pastel tones to create soft, seductive surfaces in which pearly materials alternate pleasingly with satin backgrounds and unexpected three-dimensional effects. The ceramic panels have a strongly modern appeal and are light, thin (7 mm) and perfectly flat, making them easier to handle, cut and install than conventional porcelain. They are also extremely durable and immune to post-installation defects.

With the preview of the WIDE collection, Cersaie 2016 also marks Ariana’s entry into the world of large-size ceramic panels (up to 120x240 cm). With a thickness of just 7 mm, WIDE supersedes the traditional tile concept and opens up new potential for the use of porcelain both on floors and walls and as a furnishing element. Two new material inspirations that enhance the potential of new large panels will also be unveiled in Bologna: CONCREA and HORIZON.

CONCREA Wide is an elegant interpretation of industrial surfaces combining resins and cements with a timeworn look, while HORIZON offers a more metropolitan revisitation of the decorative appeal of travertine based on a contemporary and sophisticated colour palette.
