The ALPES collection from ABK was created by combining the distinctive graphic features of a selection of stones originating from the south of France. The unique characteristics of sedimentary stone are alternated with style and personality to create two different aesthetic versions: ALPES Raw and ALPES Wide.
ALPES RAW is the “fusion” part of the project, combining the characteristics of stone sourced from different quarries and capable of creating ambiences based on a new concept of luxury. This more relaxed and informal elegance breaks down the traditional boundaries between antique and modern, creating a rustic-chic offering in which the typical characteristics of cross-cut stone are accentuated by a textured look inspired by the porosity of limestone. ALPES RAW, also available in a honed version and produced in 60x120 cm, 60x60 cm and 30x60 cm sizes with a thickness of 9 mm, enhances the powerful look and heterogeneous colours of stone.
ALPES WIDE, the result of a meticulous selection of original blocks of stone, delivers a more uniform overall effect together with greater details, even on large panels.
WIDE is also the name of the new collection of large-format ceramic panels (up to 320x160 cm) produced by ABK in a thickness of just 7 mm using the innovative CONTINUA+ technology. Thanks to their small thicknesses and large sizes, these panels are ideal for use in large residential and commercial spaces, including architectural volumes created for specific needs, thereby expanding their field of application.
