Fishman Flooring Solutions Announces Management Changes in Anticipation of Continued Growth
BALTIMORE, MD., October 11, 2016 – Fishman Flooring Solutions has announced a number of management changes in anticipation of the continued growth of its business.

“Strategic planning for both the near and long terms is an essential part of our business model and, along with our customer focus, is driving the growth of our firm,” says Bob Wagner. “The management changes we’re announcing today reflect our need to have the right people in the right positions to effectively manage our business not only today, but well into the future.”

The following management changes will be effective on or before January 1, 2017:

Shane Richmond, currently Regional Manager for the Carolinas, will become Regional Vice President of the Northern Region, responsible for sales and operations in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia. Richmond, who has held a number of increasingly responsible positions since he joined Fishman in 1997, will relocate to the company’s corporate headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland.

Mary Henritz, currently Regional Manager of the Northern Region, will become Director of Procurement, a newly-created role where she will be responsible for fine-tuning Fishman’s purchasing function to better meet the needs of the firm’s current and future customers. Henritz joined Fishman in 2008.

Matthew Thomas, currently a Business Manager in the Carolinas Region, will become Regional Manager for the Carolinas, succeeding Shane Richmond. In his new role, he will be responsible for six territory managers, seven branch locations and Fishman’s Carolinas staff. Thomas joined Fishman in 2013.

Dan Church, currently Operations Manager for the Virginia/Tennessee Region , will fill the newly-created position of Manager of Fishman’s Baltimore headquarters branch, with responsibility for the branch’s daily operations. Church began his Fishman career in 2006.

Fishman Flooring Solutions, headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, is the “Solutions Provider” distributor of flooring installation products. It has approximately 186 employees and 33 branches serving Delaware, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.
