NWFA Accepting Applications for Wood Studies Scholarship
ST. LOUIS, Missouri (October 31, 2016) – The National Wood Flooring Association is accepting applications for the 2017 NWFA Education & Research Foundation Wood Studies Scholarship. This nonrenewable scholarship in the amount of $1,000 is awarded to a current high school senior who will study forestry in an effort to advance and improve forestry practices for generations to come.

The requirements for the scholarship are as follows:

• Current high school senior.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• ACT score of 25 or higher, or SAT score of 1800 or higher.
• Future study at a four-year college/university in the field of forestry, environmental science, or natural resources.
• Application and all materials postmarked by February 1, 2017.
