Bostik Announces New Partners with Design ‘N Gather Mosaic Event
Bostik, Inc. (bostik-us.com), a world leader in specialty adhesives and installation systems for building construction, has announced that two iconic tile industry companies will be partnering in Design ‘N Gather, the much-heralded, annual global tile mosaic design competition created by Artaic – Innovative Mosaic (artaic.com) and sponsored by Bostik. DNG has invited architects, designers and mosaic design enthusiasts to submit ultra-creative mosaic interpretations for a larger-than-life mosaic “Selfie Studio” mural to be permanently installed at the “Height of Decadence,” Hyde Bellagio. Ultimately, the Grand Prize Winner will be unveiled at an exclusive, VIP event sponsored by Bostik at Hyde Bellagio on May 4th.

The firm’s Laminam porcelain tile panels, which will be installed on the Selfie Studio’s walls, have very lean profiles (just 3+mm for walls) and are versatile and flexible… offering the outstanding performance characteristics expected of today’s porcelain tile. “We’re excited about how well Laminam can be installed using Bostik’s Bosti-SetTM,” continued Shannon.

Bosti-SetTM is a premium adhesive and sound reduction membrane… created for installation of thin porcelain tile panels such as Crossville’s Laminam. Offering instant grab and holding power, only a single coat of adhesive on the panel’s back is needed for faster, easier and safer wall installation.

The flooring selected for the "World's Most Focal Selfie Studio" was “The Always Collection” in the color “Bench” from Bedrosians Tile & Stone. It's a beautiful, 'wood-look' larger format porcelain tile, which is not only extremely attractive... it's extremely durable. A highly visible gallery consisting of ten DNG finalists will be on display at AIA Convention 2017 in Orlando, April 27-29. This same collection will also be showcased at HD Expo in Las Vegas, May 3-5. The winner of the grand prize mosaic competition will be publicly unveiled on May 4th at the aforementioned event at Hyde Bellagio.
