Starting in a modest Gilbert farming community, Von's expertise, honed as a Carpet Mill regional sales representative for Arizona and New Mexico, propelled the company to grow alongside the flourishing Valley. A distinguished member of the Ceramic Tile & Stone Association of Arizona and the Better Business Bureau, Von holds two AZ Registrar of Contractors licenses and proudly received the prestigious Certified Flooring Executive Award from the World Floor Covering Association in 2002, a rare honor earned by less than 25 individuals in Arizona.
Von's commitment extends beyond flooring excellence to active community involvement. His contributions include serving on Ad Hoc committees for the Town of Gilbert, playing a pivotal role in funding non-profit groups, and advocating for significant local projects like the $41 million “Big League Dreams” sports park. His keen eye for quality led him to judge the Excellence in Workmanship awards for the Ceramic Tile and Stone Association of AZ, evaluating work in over 40 high-end homes.
With a tenure as the Chairman and a five-term member of the Gilbert Parks and Recreation Board, Von's community dedication is deep-rooted. His long-standing involvement with the Boy Scouts of America, where he served as an Adult Leader for 35 years and raised two Eagle Scout sons, reflects his commitment to nurturing future leaders.
Von, a proud third-generation Arizonan, husband, and father of five, with eleven grandchildren, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. East Valley Floors stands as a testament to his expertise, community spirit, and enduring commitment to quality and service.
