In 1976, Bill Brewer took a chance in a crowded flooring market and opened the doors for the first time to what was originally called Rug & Carpet Outlet. Shortly thereafter, Bill hired Steve Street to assist him in the day-to-day operations. It wasn’t long before Steve worked his way up and joined Bill as his business partner. Many things in the flooring world have changed since 1976, including our name, but many qualities of our local, family-owned business have remained the same. Rug & Carpet of Oklahoma (RCO) has served customers for over 40 years at the same location with professional, quality service and great customer care at affordable prices.
Owners Bill Brewer and Steve Street and their sons, John Brewer and Daniel Ludwig, have over 125 years of combined residential and commercial flooring knowledge and experience. They, along with their entire flooring team, bring to you solid and professional expertise.
RCO has a history of providing excellent personal customer service, all while building lasting relationships with our clients that span decades. In fact, it is from repeat business and customer referrals on which we have built and grown our business.
We have a beautiful showroom with hundreds of product samples for you to choose from, but we also pride ourselves in offering a wide selection of quality, in-stock products. We have a large warehouse full of special purchases in a variety of price ranges and styles. Not having to wait several weeks for a special order is one more reason many designers, builders, and commercial customers choose us.
Another way we have made a name for ourselves is with our ability to create custom rugs in any size and shape to best enhance your space. Many times this is done with our in-stock special buys. It’s a great way to get a custom, designer-inspired look at a very reasonable price!
